What MigrateKit collects, and why.

The short version

No advertising, no data sale, no third-party marketing pixels. We collect what a verification, a quote request or a payment needs, and nothing else.

What we collect

  • Free scan: the URL you submit, and the public page data we read from it. No account is required.
  • Verification report: your Google name and email, the two site addresses, ownership proof, and the report data. The report is private to your account and to anyone you share it with.
  • Contact and quote requests: your name, email, current site, platform and the message you send. A person replies by email.
  • Payments: a managed-migration deposit or quote payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store card details.
  • Server logs: standard request logs from our hosting provider, used for security and debugging.

Cookies

The dashboard uses a session cookie so Google sign-in works, and a short-lived prefill cookie during sign-in. The marketing site does not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and reports aggregate page views only.

Service providers

  • Google for sign-in.
  • Resend for transactional email (lead notifications, report confirmations, report links).
  • Stripe for managed-migration payments and receipts.
  • Cloudflare for DNS, the static site and cookieless analytics.
  • DigitalOcean for the application server.

Retention and sharing

Reports stay in your account history. A share link is read-only, expires after 30 days and can be revoked by the owner. Lead and quote messages are kept so a person can reply. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can delete a finished report and its share link from the report page. Finished reports are removed automatically after 90 days. You can also ask us to delete account data or a lead by emailing the address below.
