Moving your store to Shopify? Make sure nothing got left behind.

You give us your old store address and your new Shopify address. We check every product, every price, every picture, and every link - then show you exactly what made it across and what did not. In plain English, before you flip the switch.

The free scan reads one page in about 20 seconds and tells you what a move would put at risk. The full comparison is the Verification Report, and it is free.

The four things that go wrong when a store moves

It does not matter whether you are coming from WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, or Magento. Store moves go wrong in the same four ways, and most owners only find out after customers do.

1. You disappear from Google

Right now, Google knows your old store. Every page has words Google reads - the page title, the description, the product details. When the move drops or garbles those words, your listings slip or vanish. Weeks of quiet follow, and by the time you notice, the traffic is already gone.

2. Products, prices, and pictures go missing

A catalog of 200 products does not move perfectly by hand or by export file. Products drop out. Prices land wrong. Photos show up as broken squares. Checking every product yourself against the old store would take days - so most owners spot-check five and hope.

3. Old links stop working

Customers have your old product pages bookmarked. Your email newsletters point to old addresses. So does your Instagram bio, your Google listing, and every review roundup that ever linked to you. If those addresses break, people hit a dead end instead of a buy button.

4. You find out when customers complain

The worst version of this story ends with a customer email that says "your site is broken" - weeks after launch. By then the damage to your sales and your Google rankings is already done. Fixing things before launch is calm and cheap. Fixing them after is neither.

How it works

Three steps. No software to install, nothing to learn, nothing to connect to your store.

1. Start with the free scan

Your old store address, one page, about 20 seconds. You see what the store is built with and what a move would put at risk, with no account and no email.

2. Send both addresses for the report

The Verification Report is the comparison: your old store against the new Shopify store. Send both addresses (the private preview link is fine) and the storefront password if the new store is still gated, and confirm you control both hosts - a DNS record, a meta tag, or a file in the site root.

3. You get the report card

The report says, in everyday words, what made it across and what is missing. Pass or fail, item by item. If something is missing, the list goes straight to whoever moved your store - then you re-run the check to confirm it is fixed. Only then do you point your domain at Shopify.

What we check

Everything a customer - or Google - can see. In plain terms, that means:

Your products

Every product that existed on the old store should exist on the new one, with the right name, description, and price.

Your pictures

Product photos, banners, and page images should all load on the new store - no empty boxes, no missing cover shots, no lost descriptions for visually impaired shoppers.

The words Google reads

Every page has a title and a short description that Google shows in search results. We check these survived the move so your listings do not go blank or get rewritten by default filler text.

Your links and old web addresses

Links between pages should work, and old web addresses your customers know should still lead somewhere on the new store - not to an error page.

How the store feels to use

Pages should load reasonably fast and look right on a phone, because that is where most of your customers shop.

One honest note: the free scan reads one page and shows you what a move would put at risk - it does not compare your catalog. The full Verification Report is the comparison: your old store against the new one across all seven checks, catalog and old links included when the new store is Shopify, and it is free. And because we check what shoppers see, we do not test your checkout or payments - Shopify handles that side.

Free scan

$0 - one page, about 20 seconds. We tell you what your old store is built with and what a move would put at risk. No card, no account.

Verification Report

Free, per store pair. Your old store against the new Shopify store across all seven checks, with the missing products, prices, pictures and old links listed by name. Re-run it until it passes. Send the two addresses and we run it.

Managed migration

From $2,500, quoted per store. If you would rather not run the move yourself, we do it: rebuild, content, redirects, verified before the domain moves. Ask for a quote on the pricing page.

Questions store owners ask

Will I lose my Google rankings when I move to Shopify?

Not if everything moves over properly. Rankings usually drop because the text Google reads on each page (titles, descriptions, product info) went missing during the move, or because your old web addresses stopped working. The free scan reads one page and shows you what that page depends on; the full Verification Report compares the two stores and names every page, price and link that did not survive, so you can fix it before you switch over. It is free.

How do I know all my products made it over?

Checking by hand is nearly impossible if you have more than a handful of products. We compare your old store and your new Shopify store side by side, product by product, and list any that are missing, mispriced, or missing pictures.

What happens to my old links from Google and emails?

Every link your customers saved, every blog post that pointed to you, and every page Google has indexed points to your old web addresses. If those addresses break, you get error pages instead of sales. We check that your old addresses still lead somewhere sensible on the new store.

What if something is missing?

The report lists exactly what is missing and where, in plain English. You hand it to whoever moved your store (or fix it yourself), then run the check again to confirm everything passed. You do not flip the switch to your new store until the report is clean.

Do you move my store for me?

Either you do it, or we can. Most owners have their developer, agency or Shopify's own tools run the move and use us as the check that everything actually arrived. If you would rather not run the move yourself, we take on managed migrations from $2,500, quoted per store: rebuild, content, redirects, verified before the domain moves. Same engine and same report either way.

Someone built my new Shopify store for me. How do I check their work?

That is exactly what this is for. Send us your old store address and your new Shopify store address. We compare the two and give you a pass/fail report card. If it fails, you have a concrete list to send back to whoever did the work - before you pay the final invoice.

When should I run this check?

After your new Shopify store is set up but before you point your domain at it. That is the moment when fixing things is cheap and calm. Waiting until customers email you about missing products or broken links is the expensive way to find out.

Check the store before you go live

Start with the free scan on the homepage, about 20 seconds. Then send both store addresses and the free report tells you what did not make it across. Only go live when it passes.
